Freshwater research for conservation in Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia is home to some of the world's greatest aquatic biodiversity and human dependence on freshwater resources. It is also home to globally high rates of population growth and habitat degradation. My research seeks to understand these understudied freshwater ecosystems and to inform conservation planning that both maintains the region's important biodiversity and resource provisioning.
